Traditionally, a changing world order has been accompanied by either a large global conflict or a series of regional conflicts. Similarly, we are living through a time in which a unipolar world is reluctantly transforming into something new. One tool at the disposal of political elites is the manipulation of the media. This channel is geared at providing accurate translations of primary sources that are unlikely to air in Western mainstream media. I aim to counter what may be incorrect perceptions of Russia's foreign policy.
I am not connected to the Kremlin, FSB, RT, Batman or other sources of influence.

Reminder: Freedom of movement is a constitutional right |
(Y) |
This is a timely reminder, as we get more and more into the obscure debate about mandatory vaccines and even microchipping...(Look up the website of ID2020, who assert that "the ability to prove who you are is a fundamental human right." This is absolutely not a human right - however, the right to PRIVACY is enshrined in Article 12 of the UN Declaration of Universal Human Rights!) This kind of language is completely warped and inverted from the truth.
In this video, Sergey Lavrov asserts that whatever repercussions come out of the Coronavirus pandemic - your right to move around freely is constitutionally protected. You cannot simply slip a mandatory vaccine into the picture and still assert this right is not being violated.... Watch this space for developments and be astute to inverted language! This is only the beginning.

Moment of truth: Did Putin have a body double? |
(Y) |
The TASS series "20 questions to Vladimir Putin" - in this compilation, Putin answers the question of whether or not he ever had a double, and his views on the brain drain. Russia's salaries need to increase, preferably in relation to the rest of the job market, in order to retain its best and brightest.

Coronavirus: Russia asks US media to show decency |
(Y) |
Seriously people - do US establishment media ever just get on board with humanity? Apparently not - if this pandemic is legit, our differences should be put aside and we should be united. All THEY seem to be concerned with is what's the next piece of dirt we can dish? Who else can we offend? What nasty things can we say in this dire context? How can we subvert humanitarian efforts by other countries, in our own interest? Despicable. (See @1.27m of the video for tweet by Foreign Policy magazine!)

Putin reveals KEY to political success: the poor man |

Which is the bigger political influence on President Putin? Multinational corporations, filthy rich oligarchs or financial institutions? He asserts - it is the sentiment of 'the common man' that is responsible for his popularity and long-standing political career. What do you think?

Putin taxes the RICH among Coronavirus |
(Y) |
After the Great Depression, the Revenue Act of 1934 raised income taxes on the wealthy, while reducing them for lower income groups. It also raised estate taxes on the wealthy and closed corporate tax loopholes. The Revenue Act, also called the “Wealth Tax Act,” eventually raised taxes to 75 percent on incomes over $500,000. Can Russia avoid a recession by targetting the many millions of dollars currently being transported tax free into offshore accounts?

Putin calls for martial law?! |
(Y) |
CAUTION when viewing this video. You need to be able to decipher that there are two different perspectives: the first is unabridged government power vis a vis the public. You are likely to feel this way if you live in a Western state. This is not being advocated for here.
What we're talking about is oppositional forces within Russia, often funded from abroad, staging events which are not grassroots and aimed at disrupting civil life in order to make it seem authentic and favourable. What President Putin is talking about is activity that is taking place outside of the current laws.
For those who are unaware about holding protests in Russia - one needs to notifiy the local Council that a protest will be held in their city. The Council must then grant permission, providing the necessary police force and emergency staff, should it be required. The Council can also deny the said action - which may seem counterintuitive to holding an opposition rally in the first place. This is a legitimate concern for a democratic society, but usually, permission is granted.
Where a party does not seek permission to protest - this is called an "unsanctioned protest", which makes it illegal. This is usually done by internal figures who appear on the likes of CNN and BBC to create chaotic scenes of political mismanagement within Russia.
What do you make of President Putin's stance of law and order?

Why did Putin resign the government? |
(Y) |
In January 2020, President Putin delivered his address to the federal assembly - after which, the entire government resigned. Of course they didn't really resign - they were resigned, lol. The reshuffle is still in motion and I personally feel it's too early to give any significant analysis. It is clear of course that the reshuffle was necessary in anticipation of the 2024 election.
It is difficult for a Western audience to find a conservative point of view on what it taking place, so I thought this outtake from Tsargrad TV would be a nice counterbalance to the mostly liberal media that provides their analysis. K. Malofeev has been sanctioned by the US and EU for the past few years - something he says only makes other oligarchs in the same predicament, reinvest their money in Russia, as opposed to options in the West.

EXPOSED: Oligarchs are taking over the US - [28 mins] |
(Y) |
This is a very different kind of 'Russian meddling'!
Mr. Khodorkovsky heads the Open Russia foundation - which, every Russian election cycle is aggregated toward spreading anti-government sentiment. President Putin is, of course, a long-time nemesis of Mr. Khodorkovsky; having jailed him for embezzlement and fraud at Yukos. It is not known exactly why Khodorkovsky was pardoned in 2013 - but he has since resided in London, from where he continues his 'political activity'. Today - he is buying up US real estate. What I found interesting in this expose, is the freedom with which known crooks are free to do business - so long as they remain figures 'against the regime' in Russia.

FULL LECTURE: How the West abetted Hitler [50 mins] |

#WWII #EUresolution #history
There IS a reason I didn't post this in time for the Xmas break - imagine the dinner table arguments with all the relatives' 2 cents worth of opinions? =D Just kidding, but now that we're back to everyday life, we are more able to give it the time that it deserves. Here is the full lecture by the Russian President on the causes of the Second World War. Why is this topical today? It appears the EU is attempting to rewrite history, by blaming the Soviet Union for the start of WWII, which claimed an estimated 27 million Soviet lives. Read more:

Trump delivered: Iran was always the NEOCONS' target |
(Y) |
In this episode from a video I did in 2016 - I have included the infamous 2007 speech by ex-NATO General Wesley Clark, on the US plan “to take down 7 countries in 5 years.” They may not have met their deadline, but we are now assured that Clark was not making it up. Iran was always on the target list and Trump certainly delivered.
On January 3rd 2020, the US assassinated Iranian General Q. Soleimani in Iraq, with repercussions we are yet to find out. Iraq is attempting to expel the US army from their territory, which may see the imposition of even more US troops in the region.
To put the video in context - Clark is talking about PNAC objectives. The Project for the New American Century (PNAC) was a neo-conservative think tank that operated between 1997 and 2006. It openly advocated for the total global military domination by the United States. PNAC members held the highest-level positions in the George W. Bush administration, including Robert Kagan (husband of Victoria Nuland), Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, and others.

Robots are coming to kill you - Putin |
(Y) |
At this year's forum on Artificial Intelligence in Moscow, President Putin raised the issues of privacy and ethical coexistence of humans and technology. He urged the professional community to develop a code of ethics that can guide continued development in this sphere.
In recent years, artificial intelligence - among its many uses - has been utilised for 'genetic editing'. While this innovation can potentially eradicate all diseases in human beings - it can also be used for less ethical purposes. How do we mitigate these risks in the future?

Greta, as a person, means well - but Greta, as a project of elite mafiosos, is too young to know how sinister the propaganda machine is. Putin's shot of vodka & brief history of Islamic State |
(Y) |
In the early 2000s, Vladimir Putin successfully turned the tables in the brutal wars in Chechnya. Western mainstream media would have you believe that the civil war was the Chechen people vs. the Russian government. In actuality, it was groups of radicalised Islamists, ideologically and financially supported from the West, with the intention of destabilising the state from within. Sound familiar? In effect, the Syrian campaign was far from Vladimir Putin's first rodeo...
Fact: Current pro-Moscow leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, was initially on the other side of the conflict - against the state. How did Vladimir Putin turn this situation around? Don't miss the linked video at the end - "Putin’s historic battle against ISIL (Q&A 2002)"

Every year, the ENTIRETY of the global press representatives attend the St Petersburg International Economic Forum - but rarely do they bring something meaningful back. I am yet to see what Rosalind Mathieson of Bloomberg has published of her experience.

WHY is Putin aiding overpopulation? |
(Y) |
The destruction of the family unit is well and truly underway as millennial women are increasingly rejecting this way of life. Reasons for this are new-found female 'emancipation' from the patriarchy and of course - global overpopulation.
The family unit is not a relic of the past in Russia - but the demographic situation is not yet out of the woods! Russia's birthrate has somewhat recovered in the past decade after experiencing a catastropic (by many measures) decline in the early 1990s. Since coming to power in 2000, the Putin government has established programmes such as "Mother's capital" which seeks to financially support every child in the family after the 1st one. Annually, millions of rubles are allocated toward basic necessities, school & medical fees, and even mortgages and land plots. Families with seven children or more are considered to be extra special and are awarded the "parental honour" award by the Presidential administration.
The birthrate is due to plunge once again - in fact 2018 has been the highest year in recent history for natural population decline. Garbage publications attempt to pin the problems of demography on lack of government initiative - but the astute reader knows that this plunge has been forecasted long ago. Women who were born between 1990 and 1995 are now reaching child-bearing years - but there simply weren't many of them born. A natural birth rate decline is now underway once again, and probably for the next 5-6 years. This is opening up new debates on the topics of migration and labour market demands - but the current Administration is set to leave in 2024. What kind of changes will the new President bring? Watch this space!russian | foreign | policy | politics | america | children | birth rate | migration | immigration | president | putin | family | values | religion | tradition | gender | mothers | women | russia

Following the withdrawal of the US from the Iran Deal, the issue is once again heating up the balance of power in the Middle East. President Putin appears to frankly not be very concerned about potentially offending "Western partners" about the way they have dealt with Iran. Going back on agreements, changing the goalposts, treating each event in isolation as opposed to the chain of events that international relations are - we've seen this kind of double standard before aplenty, haven't we? Putin's plan: Russian citizenship for all |
(Y) |
On 27th April 2019, Russia gave Eastern Ukrainians the ability to obtain Russian passports. The Lugansk and Donetsk Republics have been at war with Kiev since 2014 US-funded coup. While retaining physical autonomy, Russian citizenship will make this region a de-facto Russian territory. However - President Putin went further to suggest that Russian citizenship may become easier to obtain for all Ukrainians, not just those in the East of the country. I couldn't help but notice the timing of Russia's initiative to sign this into law - right with the election of the new President in Ukraine. Bye-bye Google? Russia creates own internet ! |
(Y) |
Russia’s parliament has passed a law aimed at allowing the Russian segment of the internet (known as Runet, domains end in .RU) to operate autonomously of the global World-Wide-Web. Internet providers will be expected to install equipment that routes Russian internet traffic through servers on the territory of the Russian Federation only. The measure is intended to ensure internet security and protection from interference by hostile states. However, the Bill has also attracted criticism in as much as it will be possible to create an “Internet Wall of Russia”, akin to China’s cyber-security politics, whereby the likes of Google, Facebook and others are not available for access. While the government has denied this intention, the Bill does make it possible in terms of technical capacity. Putin: Humanity too stupid to cause climate change |
(Y) |
Okay, not quite what he said - just having some fun :D But the point that President Putin made at the International Arctic Forum is that there is no solid proof that climate change is man-made. Yes, the Earth is warming; yes, some parts faster than others - but there is no consensus that this is not a natural process. I thought this was interesting because if one does not do their research, one might accidentally assume that it has in fact been proven that global warming is man-made. This is because mainstream media and public initiatives appear to be certain. Their certainty is seemingly misguided.climate change | russian | foreign | policy | arctic | forum | putin | president | carbon | emissions | finland | politics

"I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable" - Putin |
(Y) |
In March 2014, following a government coup in Kiev, Crimeans voted to secede from the Ukrainian state. Around 84% of eligible Crimeans voted in the referendum, with 97% in favour of unification with the Russian Federation. Sevastopol, a city with a longstanding history of Russian military battles and victories, had a 90% turnout, where people voted 97% in favour.
Crimea became a part of the Russian Empire following the Turko-Russian war of 1783, ending the 300-year rule by the Ottomans. The next key date in the debacle is that Crimea was gifted to the Ukraine in 1954 by Soviet leader Nikita Kruschev.
Kruschev did not have sufficient quorum members in the Supreme Soviet (USSR parliament) for the decision to be voted on legitimately. It was given away by decree of one man. Admittedly, Kruschev couldn't have foreseen that one day the Soviet Union may not be one unified territory and that historic Russian naval city, Sevastopol, may end up in NATO disposition.
Accusations of “annexation” quickly replaced principles of legal rights to self-determination in mainstream media. This right is enshrined in the UN Charter and other instruments of international law.putin | russia | russian | foreign | policy | crimea | spring | sevastopol | history | politics | international | law | self determination | democracy | referendum

Creating Political Spin: the case of Russian opposition |
(Y) |
A Russian opposition figure has recently called on people to take to the streets - "just like in Paris." In this video, I attempt to pinpoint points of contention in Alexey Navalny's justification. While there should be plenty of room for opposition figures in any given democracy - I don't believe that calling for civil unrest is ever a good or safe idea. The End of the Dollar is Coming - Lavrov |
(Y) |
The US administration is busy working on the 2020 budget - which will include funding for countries around the world in helping them to combat "Russian influence". This is despite the fact that Trump has previously been accused of not actually using any of the money allocated for this purpose internally. Is it because said Russian danger is fictional? With trust in media at an all time low - there appears to be no consensus from the US president himself, or he may be appeasing several opposing interests at once.
Sergei Lavrov, at the 12th March meeting with his Austrian colleague, states that modern US diplomacy consists predominantly of threats and sanctions. This economic manipulation is giving rise to alternative measures being adopted by other countries. "They are undermining the very branch they are perched on - the Dollar."russia | foeign | policy | USA | sanctions | oil | news | politics | pompeo | lavrov | putin | dollar | currency | national | system

Is Russia sexist? International Women's Day in Modern Context....
International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8th all around the world - but nowhere as prolifically as in Russia and CIS. For one day in a year, you can witness men in various "serious" organisations (police force, the army, etc) engage in "flash mobs" of flower giving to female colleagues and strangers. It is also quite acceptable to turn your usually-serious work place into a "female-friendly" environment, with a touch of "girly" things - usually flowers.
Russia also has a day for men - Defender of the Fatherland day on February 23rd. This is not celebrated internationally, unlike it's female equivalent.
Is it bad or good to endorse traditional gender roles? I think it is relative. Where the intended message is one of limitation - ie. women may only participate in child rearing or "women's jobs" - then that is not a message of inclusivity and personal freedoms.
But where the intention is to celebrate a woman's personal choice to do that which only women can do - that is quite a different message. To recognise women as primary caregivers, where the quality of that care has direct repercussions on society is an important aspect of feminism.
It is noteworthy also that Russia has the highest number of female CEO's in the world, irrespective of a cultural norm that prefers traditional gender associations. Around 45% of senior managers in Russia are female.feminism | international | womens | day | foreign | policy | gender | roles | stereotypes | putin | russia

The 411 on Venezuela- Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs |
(Y) |
On 23rd February, Venezuela intercepted what was said to be "humanitarian aid" crossing the border from Columbia. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the trucks were transporting weapons & barbed wire for radical opposition forces. In these outtakes - points are being driven home that if avoiding starvation and /or poverty in Venezuela is the goal, why not unfreeze their own government revenue, that far surpasses the amounts offered by "humanitarian intervention".
Why Venezuela's wealth is being kept in foreign banks is a question worthy of its own investigation.venezuela | maduro | foreign | policy | international | relations | UN | UNSC | nebenzya | zakharova

If a fight is INEVITABLE - strike FIRST |
(Y) |
One from the archives - Valdai Discussion Forum 2015. "If a fight is inevitable - you have to hit first" said Vladimir Putin in context of fighting terrorism in Syria. As a recap - there were an estimated 10,000 fighters within the ranks of ISIL of Russian or Central Asian citizenship/s. Russia has visa-free regimes with many of these countries, therefore the threat of violence returning to home turf was very real.
As a side note - I couldn't help but notice the correlation to the advice of Niccolo Machiavelli in "The Prince". Often considered one of the earliest writings on the topic of governance and ethics, he debated on the subject of whether it is better to be loved or feared, as a Ruler of said people.
"Men ought either to be indulged or utterly destroyed, for if you merely offend them they take vengeance, but if you injure them greatly they are unable to retaliate, so that the injury done to a man ought to be such that vengeance cannot be feared." In the same way - to strike first, is to have the advantage of strategy and full fighting capacity as opposed to reactive capacity. To deliver the first blow can often incapacitate the enemy. What do you think?

Hosting US missiles in Europe is not smart! - Russia |
(Y) |
This video follows on from the previous on the theme of the INF Treaty. Click through at the end to see background information on the agreement (Israeli intel: US withdrawal from INF Treaty explained.) Here it is reiterated by President Putin and Minister Shoigu that irrespective of the US withdrawal, Europe should not become a pawn of the US by agreeing to host its missiles on their territory. Doing so exposes European countries to a risk of confrontation more so than it exposes the US across the Atlantic.russia | politics | foreign policy | vladimir putin | INF | missile | nuclear | war | europe | treaty | USA | trump | hitory

Israeli intel spills beans on Nuclear issue |
(Y) |
In the mid-1980s, Europe had a situation that was similar to the Cuban Missile Crisis, when the Soviet SS-20 Saber and the American Pershing missile faced each other off at a close distance. Back then, both parties had decided to abandon the arms race by signing the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty (1987). Today, the United States is seemingly desperate to withdraw from the agreement and return to the former situation.
Recently, the US has been busy putting missile launchers into full combat readiness in Europe. These are positioned in Romania and next in line is Poland. Under the pretext of creating a "nuclear shield against Iran", US Tomahawks are technically able to penetrate into Russia as far as the Ural mountains.
The dismantling of the international system of security began in 2002, with the unilateral withdrawal of the United States from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty 1972, a treaty that Vladimir Putin called “the absolute linchpin to international security.” This in turn hampered the START II (1993) – Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty.
What will Russia do in response? Vladimir Putin has already mentioned an “instantaneous” answer. "There are missile launchers in Romania, which can be used not only for anti-missiles – but also for systems of medium-range missiles. These are usually deployed from the sea, however they can be transferred to land and used as medium-range, land-based missiles. This then becomes a direct violation of the INF,” he said.
He continued- “Yet we also have the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, START III – I think that there are issues that need to be discussed about this,” the head of state said.
This could be a hint at the possibility of Russia withdrawing from the US-backed Strategic Arms Treaty – START III. After all, on the day of signing – April 8, 2010 – the Russian president (then it was Medvedev) included a special reservation, a clause which said that the treaty “can be viable only on conditions when there is no qualitative and quantitative increase in the capabilities of US anti-missile systems.”
It would appear, the snowballing effect has begun.yaakov | kedmi | israel | nativ | INF | treaty | intermediate | range | missile | РСМД | putin | valdai | nuclear | martyrs | quote | die | like | dogs | animal | war | wwIII | world war three | 1987 | 1972 | START III | bush | reagan | gorbachev | history | politics | ABM | anti-ballistic | international | security | iran | non-proliferation | UN | Iran

Things Dictators say! |
(Y) |
The title is not supposed to offend fans or followers of LDPR, of which there are plenty. In this video, Vladimir Zhirinovsky speaks at a meeting in the Crimea in 2014. Zhirinovsky is the leader of Russia's LDPR party (Liberal-Democratic Party) which is the third most popular in the country after United Russia (previously associated with Vladimir Putin) and the Communist Party.
Zhirinovsky is known for his eccentric character and a lack of "political correctness." Similarly, it would be fair to say that his party is "liberal democratic" in name only, as many of his ideas could be considered illiberal and not all that democratic.
The word "dictator" is of course incorrectly used to describe any authoritarian figure or those with a nationalist sentiment (when it comes to leadership, we are talking about pro-nation-state views as opposed to pro-specific ethnicity views.)
It was interesting to find that Vladimir Zhirinovsky voices many things that Vladimir Putin is accused of doing or saying, but this tends to go unnoticed. Imagine the furor in mainstream media if the Russian president entertained such ideas; giving himself a new title from the President to "Tsar", adopting a new flag and anthem, naming and shaming pro-American politicians of the early 1990s, openly declaring Imperial ambitions, calling to level the attackers in Eastern Ukraine and moving further South, threatening the Baltic states with annihilation in the event of war, petitioning for a Minister of Propaganda, allowing the Taliban to continue their reign in Afghanistan and so on.
So, next time you read of Putin's tyranny - just be glad it is not Zhirinovsky in charge of the nuclear codes!vladimir putin | russian | russia | politics | history | vladimir | zhirinovsky | LDPR | liberal | democratic | party | zyuganov | taliban | ukraine | baltic | poland | vlasov | yeltsin | dictator | extremism | far | right | nationalist | united russia

Did Khrushchev have a shoe? Russia's first Mandela Effect? |
(Y) |
Before watching the video - see if you can recall the "shoe banging" incident at the UN by Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev. Chances are, your recollection may be different to views contained in this short doco.
The term "Mandela Effect" refers to a reasonably new phenomenon whereby different groups of people remember the same things or events differently. While it has largely been dismissed as tricks of the mind - in the deep corners of the internet, one can find various hypotheses as to what may cause this. From the benign explanation of memory tricks - all the way to "augmentation of reality" by the scientists at CERN. Some famous examples of the Mandela Effect include JFK's vehicle, a different ending to the Queen song "We are the Champions", and others.
The point of this video is not to get bogged down in conspiracy theories - what interested me was that I too remember Khrushchev banging his shoe at the UN podium. I don't recall where I had seen it but this version of events is disputed by someone that was there in person - Khrushchev's translator. I am confused how I can possibly recall something that didn't happen.
This doco features a mysterious video with no sound or source that claims to be "the real video" of Khrushchev banging his shoe at his UN desk (albeit not the UN podium). Upon closer examination, the people pictured do not really look like Khrushchev or Gromyka - they have only a vague resemblance. Having read the comments to the video on the channel that it came from, it appears this scene may be from a foreign film that depicted the events, but it is not named.

US developing Genetic Bio-Weapons against Russia (!) |
(Y) |
Text by Bulgarian investigative journalist, Dilyana Gaytandzhieva.
“The US Army regularly produces deadly viruses, bacteria and toxins in direct violation of the UN Convention on the prohibition of Biological Weapons. Hundreds of thousands of unwitting people are systematically exposed to dangerous pathogens and other incurable diseases. Bio warfare scientists using diplomatic cover test man-made viruses at Pentagon bio laboratories in 25 countries across the world. These US bio-laboratories are funded by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) under a $ 2.1 billion military program– Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP), and are located in former Soviet Union countries such as Georgia and Ukraine, the Middle East, South East Asia and Africa.
The Lugar Center is the Pentagon bio laboratory in Georgia. It is located just 17 km from the US Vaziani military airbase in the capital Tbilisi. Tasked with the military program are biologists from the US Army Medical Research Unit-Georgia (USAMRU-G) along with private contractors. The Bio-safety Level 3 Laboratory is accessible only to US citizens with security clearance. They are accorded diplomatic immunity under the 2002 US-Georgia Agreement on defense cooperation.”
